Rally Republic Code of Conduct 

Introduction

Rally Republic is committed to upholding ethical business practices and values that prioritize the well-being of all workers within our supply chain. This Code of Conduct is designed to establish minimum standards and requirements for our manufacturers and suppliers involved in the production of our pickleball paddles and products. It aligns with the principles set forth by the Fair Labor Association's Code of Conduct and is an essential part of our commitment to responsible and sustainable manufacturing.

  1. Employment Relationship
    • All workers should be provided with clear and written terms of employment, including but not limited to:
      • Employment status (temporary, permanent, part-time, full-time)
      • Compensation details
      • Working hours
      • Overtime policies
      • Termination conditions
      • Grievance mechanisms
  2. Nondiscrimination
    • Rally Republic is dedicated to maintaining a workplace free from discrimination. Our manufacturers and suppliers shall not discriminate based on race, color, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, or any other legally protected status. Equal employment opportunities should be provided to all.
  3. Harassment or Abuse
    • All workers have the right to a workplace free from harassment and abuse. Our manufacturers and suppliers must:
      • Develop and enforce anti-harassment policies.
      • Train workers and management on the prevention of harassment.
      • Provide accessible and confidential channels for reporting harassment or abuse.
  4. Forced Labor
    • Rally Republic strictly prohibits the use of forced labor in any form. Our manufacturers and suppliers shall not engage in or support any practices involving coercion, bonded labor, or involuntary servitude. Workers must be employed willingly and without threat or intimidation.
  5. Child Labor
    • We do not tolerate child labor. Our manufacturers and suppliers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations concerning the minimum age for employment. Workers under the age of 18 must not be involved in any hazardous work, and their employment should not interfere with their education.
  6. Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining
    • Rally Republic respects the rights of workers to freely associate, form or join trade unions, and engage in collective bargaining. Manufacturers and suppliers must respect and support these rights and not interfere with the lawful activities of workers and their representatives.
  7. Health and Safety in the Environment
    • Workers must have a safe and healthy working environment. Manufacturers and suppliers must:
      • Comply with all applicable health and safety laws and regulations.
      • Regularly assess and address workplace hazards.
      • Provide necessary training on health and safety measures.
      • Establish emergency response plans.
  8. Hours of Work
    • Working hours should be reasonable and in compliance with local laws and regulations. Overtime should be voluntary and fairly compensated. Workers must have a right to rest days and reasonable limits on weekly working hours.
  9. Compensation
    • All workers shall be paid at least the minimum wage mandated by local laws and regulations. Compensation packages must also include overtime, benefits, and other legal entitlements. Deductions from wages should be transparent, legal, and communicated to workers.
  10. Implementation and Monitoring
    • Rally Republic will work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure compliance with this Code of Conduct. We encourage transparency, dialogue, and collaboration to address any violations or concerns. Violations may result in corrective action, and in severe cases, termination of the business relationship.

We are committed to ongoing monitoring and assessment to ensure the protection and promotion of workers' rights within our supply chain. Rally Republic will also consider local laws and international standards in making improvements to this Code of Conduct.

We believe that ethical manufacturing practices benefit everyone involved and are essential for the sustainability of our business. Through this Code of Conduct, we aim to create a fair and safe environment for all workers while producing high-quality pickleball paddles and products.
